Do they know how to distinguish a well-constructed home from one that is not?  How many of the homes being built today will be able to stand the test of time? How much more will future buyers of these homes have to pay for maintenence, energy and repair costs than if more investment were made when these homes were being built?.

My real estate specialty is new construction homes. It's been a family business since the 1960's. I've seen many changes in the way homes are built. And I am always curious as to how buyers think when they buy a new home.

I'd enjoy hearing your personal experiences with building a new home. I want to understand more and more what's on people's minds.
I welcome questions about new construction techiques, particularly in the Omaha, NE area.
Thanks, Dean

It is taking its rightful place as a progressive city and is gaining national recognition. I appreciate how city government, businesses, universities and the ordinary citizen work together to try to solve major problems facing many communities.

The "safe haven" law may appear to be a fiasco but it sure need suface problems faced by families across the nation. Problems that can't be ignored.

I agree that greed is a problem in our government and society. But who among us doesn't take advantage of a situation when it presents itself?

Our taxes are high and they drive me crazy, too. But, on the other hand, Nebraskans are willing to pay their own way. We do have a balanced budget with a surplas. This means we will not be going to the Federal government begging for a "bail out" like some other states are proposing to do.

We do have problems. That is why an vigilant citizenry is, essential to freedom. If we don't greedy powerful
people will rule the day.

Thanks for the opportunity to share my point of view.
